A delightful antique Scottish spider brooch crafted during the Edwardian era and set with a 0.25ct Sapphire head and Aquamarine abdomen which is approx. 2ct.
Aquamarine is adored for its beautiful clear Ocean blue colour which complements most skin types. The stone was once believed to be the treasure of Mermaids and was used as a token of happiness and good fortune.
The spider and front of the bar are fashioned in Platinum and backed in 18ct Yellow Gold including the pin. It is a highly collectable piece and complete with its original box from esteemed Mackay and Chisholm Goldsmiths of Edinburgh.
